Grand Opening BUILDHAUS Bali Brings Material Brands and Industry Professionals Together Under One Roof
After months of preparation, BUILDHAUS officially opened its doors in Bali on October 6, 2026. The premium building material showroom by Batara Group offers a new destination for both the public and industry professionals to explore and experience a wide range of building materials firsthand.
The Grand Opening was attended by professionals from across the industry, including architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, suppliers, and business partners. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) Bali and the Chairman of the National Association of Indonesian Consultants (INKINDO) Bali, along with other professionals and industry representatives in Bali.
The event offered guests an opportunity to learn more about the BUILDHAUS concept, explore the showroom, and discover the brands and materials available under one roof.
Experiencing Materials in One Space
At BUILDHAUS, materials are displayed firsthand, allowing visitors to see their colors, textures, sizes, and finishes up close. This provides an opportunity to understand the character of each material beyond what can be seen through catalogs or digital media.
Some materials are also presented within a spatial setting, allowing visitors to see how they look when combined with other elements. Rather than viewing materials as individual products, visitors can experience how they can become part of a space.
This approach offers a more complete experience for architects, designers, contractors, developers, and project owners who want to explore and consider materials directly for their projects.
Bringing Brands and Industry Professionals Together
BUILDHAUS brings together a range of brands and suppliers within one showroom. With different options available in one place, visitors can explore materials for various project needs while discussing the products and their applications directly with the relevant teams.
Moving forward, BUILDHAUS will also serve as a space for brands and suppliers to introduce their products directly to industry professionals in Bali. Regular activities such as product demonstrations, workshops, industry talks, gatherings, and networking sessions will be held at BUILDHAUS.
These activities will provide opportunities to learn more about products, exchange knowledge and information, and create space for discussion and connection. For brands, they also offer a way to introduce their products and engage directly with professionals involved in a wide range of projects.
Through these activities, BUILDHAUS aims to be more than a place to explore materials. It will also serve as a space that brings together brands, suppliers, and professionals from the architecture, interior, construction, and property industries in Bali.
A New Chapter for Batara Group in Bali
The opening of BUILDHAUS marks a new step for Batara Group in Bali. This year is a significant one for the company, following the opening of its Surabaya branch earlier in 2026 and the celebration of 55 years of Batara Group in August.
The journey now continues in Bali with BUILDHAUS, which also marks Batara Group's first showroom.
Bali was chosen as the first location for BUILDHAUS due to the dynamic growth of its architecture, hospitality, property, and design industries. Projects across the island also bring diverse material requirements, from function and design to technical specifications.
Through BUILDHAUS, Batara Group aims to create a space where materials can be experienced firsthand, brands can connect with the market, and industry professionals can meet and build relationships.
The opening of BUILDHAUS marks the beginning of this new journey. Moving forward, the showroom will continue to provide a place to explore materials, meet brands, exchange ideas, and build connections with industry professionals across Bali.
