There is no single fixed price for this type of heat-reflective insulation. Several technical specifications and sales factors can affect its price range in the market.

One of the main factors affecting price is the type of aluminum foil insulation. Single-sided products, with one reflective surface, are generally more economical than double-sided products.
Additional core materials, such as air bubble layers or foam, can also significantly increase the product price because they provide additional insulation properties compared with a basic reflective foil layer.

This type of roof insulation is generally sold in rolls, for example, in a standard size of 1.2 meters × 50 meters.

- Type 45 House: The approximate roof area may be around 60–70 m², requiring approximately 1.5 to 2 rolls of insulation material, depending on the roll size and installation requirements.
- Type 70 House: The roof area may reach approximately 90–100 m². A house of this size may require 2 rolls or more, depending on the actual roof surface area and the coverage provided by each roll.

When Should You Invest in Thicker Insulation?
Choosing the lowest-cost option is not always the most suitable approach. If your house is located in a region with a hot tropical climate or uses metal roofing such as galvanized steel or galvalume, investing in a double-sided bubble insulation system may be worth considering.
This type of insulation can provide additional thermal insulation performance and may also help reduce the noise generated by rainfall on metal roofing, depending on the product construction and installation.
On the other hand, for areas with moderate temperatures and conventional clay tile roofing, a single-sided aluminum foil product may be sufficient for certain applications.
The most appropriate insulation should ultimately be selected based on the roof construction, roofing material, climate conditions, desired performance, and manufacturer’s specifications.
