1. Ensure the application area is thoroughly clean and dry. Use alcohol or a multipurpose cleaner to remove dust, dirt, and any oil residues. A wet or oily surface may reduce the adhesion performance of Viscous.

2. Apply masking tape on both sides of the gap to be filled to maintain a clean application and ensure straight sealant lines.

3. Cut the nozzle tip at an angle of approximately 45°. Attach the nozzle to the cartridge, then load it into the caulking gun.

4. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and apply steady pressure on the trigger. Dispense Viscous evenly, ensuring the sealant fully penetrates and fills the gap.

5. Smooth the sealant using a gloved finger or a finishing tool in one continuous motion to press the material into the joint and create a clean surface finish.
6. Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing. Touch up the edges if necessary for a neater result.

7. Allow the sealant to cure at room temperature. Avoid touching or exposing the applied area to water during curing. Touch-dry time is approximately 5–10 minutes at 25°C with 50% relative humidity.
