1. Select a location at the highest part of the roof, near the ridge. Place the base flashing on the roof, then mark the inner opening (30–36 cm diameter). Cut the roof along the marked outline.
2. Position the base flashing over the opening, ensuring the upper edge is tucked under the roof sheets to prevent rainwater ingress. Secure it to the roof structure using roofing screws.
3. Use a spirit level to ensure the collar is properly aligned and vertical, allowing smooth and stable turbine rotation.
4. Insert the turbine head into the collar, then tighten the screws securely.
5. Apply silicone sealant evenly along all joints and around the base flashing to prevent leakage.
